the domed rectangular top above a conforming case enclosing a central hinged drop front panel decorated with two youthful cupids seated on a grassy mound with musical instruments, above a pair of cupboard doors decorated with a semi-nude female dancer or a tambourine player, opening to reveal a fitted interior with a central archway with fluted columns flanked by two short drawers, over three full drawers decorated with grotesque motifs, raised on a foliate decorated rectangular base ending in bracket feet. Description:
OUTSTANDING CONTINENTAL ANTIQUE CARVED WALNUT CREDENZA. The framed top having a carved molded edge with ogee shaped intricately carved frieze below which are two doors. There are two carved central columns with male figures and women's masks. A central panel of an angel with spread wings wearing a fruit basket hat having trailing flower vines and fruit garland curtain swags. Raised and carved side panels, the corners having nicely carved figures of nude women with fruit basket and garland. Carved end panels with scroll and flower design. Molded and carved base supported by short feet. Key included.

SIZE: 34" high x 56" wide x 21-1/2" deep.

CONDITION: Very good, nice patina.

The bottom section having one drawer over three side by side drawers raised on high cabriole pad feet legs with a wonderful carved shaped apron. Nice curly maple case and drawers.

SIZE: 73" h, top case: 34-1/4"w x 19-1/4"d; bottom case: 35-1/2"w x 20"d.

CONDITION: Refinished, some restoration, very good. Missing one brass, two bales.
